☀️ Day 01 – Kandy Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is setup especially for abandoned and injured elephants located at Pinnawala village in Sabaragamuwa Province of Sri Lanka. Its success and fame have travelled throughout the world, currently being home to a large herd of captive elephants. Feeding and bathing in the river provide the best opportunities to see elephants close-up. Kandy is a major city and a world heritage site located in the Central Province. This was the last capital of the ancient kings’ era of Sri Lanka. The city lies in the midst of hills in the Kandy plateau, which crosses an area of tropical plantations, mainly tea. Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa) is a Buddhist temple located in the royal palace complex of the former Kingdom of Kandy, which houses the relic of the tooth of Buddha. Since ancient times, the relic has played an important role in local politics because it is believed that whoever holds the relic holds the governance of the country.

☀️ Day 02 – Nuwara Eliya Royal Botanic Gardens, Peradeniya is renowned for its collection of orchids. The garden includes more than 4000 species of plants, including orchids, spices, medicinal plants and palm trees. The total area of the botanical garden is 147 acres. Kandy offers its visitors a rich collection of arts, crafts, and historical buildings, including a traditional bazaar and gem museum. Nuwara Eliya, the ‘Little England’ of Sri Lanka, is set against beautiful backdrops of mountains, valleys, waterfalls, and tea plantations. It is supposed to be one of the coldest places on the island, but it is really just like an English spring day. All around Nuwara Eliya you will see evidence of British architectural influence, featuring country cottages or Queen Anne style mansions.

Embark on a Kandy City Tour, visiting Kandy town, local bazaars, the arts and crafts center, and a local Gem Museum and lapidary.
Transfer to Nuwara Eliya (72Km / 3 hours drive from Kandy). En route visit the scenic Ramboda Falls, a functional Ceylon tea factory, and sprawling tea plantations.

☀️ Day 03 – Nuwara Eliya & Transfer to Departure Explore legendary shrines nestled in the mountain clearings before tracing a direct path back to the west coast for departure.

Visit Sita Amman Temple in Seetha Eliya, a unique shrine built at the historic location where Sita Mata spent her days in captive prison under King Ravana.
Undertake a short city tour in Nuwara Eliya town before direct transfer to the Katunayake International Airport for your flight home (Approx 7 hours transit).

☀️ Day 01 – Dambulla & Habarana Dambulla Cave Temple, also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site situated in the central part of the country. Dambulla is the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka, where a massive rock towers 160 meters over the surrounding plains. Major attractions are spread over five ancient caves containing 153 Buddha statues, statues of Sri Lankan kings, and pristine wall paintings. Minneriya National Park forms part of a critical elephant corridor joining up with Kaudulla and Wasgamuwa parks. It provides permanent sanctuary to see wild herds throughout the year, standing as the largest known seasonal meeting place of Asian elephants in the world, where massive herds gather along the banks of the reservoir. Open plains also shelter deer, peacocks, wild boars, and wetland birds.

☀️ Day 02 – Sigiriya & Kandy Sigiriya is an ancient rock fortress located in the Matale District, dominated by a massive column of rock nearly 200 meters high. Built by King Kashyapa (477-495 AD), it stands as a masterpiece of ancient urban planning, artistry, and advanced irrigation. Pathways through the royal pleasure gardens and stone stairways lead visitors up through the historic Lion Gate to the citadel summit. The Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa) in Kandy preserves the sacred tooth relic of Gautama Buddha, situated inside the last royal palace grounds of the fallen kingdom.

☀️ Day 01 – Hikkaduwa & Mirissa Hikkaduwa beach is one of the most popular coastal locations in Sri Lanka. It is famous for its vibrant coral reef running parallel to the shore just a few meters below the water, perfect for exploring via snorkeling or glass-bottom boats. Hikkaduwa is also recognized as a premier surfing site. Mirissa is a scenic crescent beach destination in southern Sri Lanka, serving as an exceptional launchpad for sunbathing and deep-sea whale watching tours.

☀️ Day 02 – Mirissa to Yala The deep Indian Ocean waters off the coast of Mirissa serve as a global highway for migrating marine giants moving between the Horn of Africa and the Bay of Bengal.

Board an early morning boat cruise from the Mirissa Harbor to witness blue whales, sperm whales, and leaping dolphins in their natural habitat.

☀️ Day 03 – Yala National Park to Airport Departure Yala National Park is the most visited and second largest national park in Sri Lanka, bordering the Indian Ocean. It covers 979 square kilometers across the Southern and Uva provinces. Best known for its dense variety of big game wildlife, it is a crucial sanctuary for the conservation of Sri Lankan elephants, aquatic birds, and the Sri Lankan leopard, holding one of the highest apex predator densities in the world.

Spanning over 18,900 acres, it is designated as a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve and World Heritage Site. It stands as the country’s last viable area of primary tropical rainforest.
