βοΈ Day 01: Spiritual Gateways (Arrival -> Chilaw -> Habarana)
Touchdown at the Colombo International Airport and receive a warm welcome from your dedicated Infinity Lanka Holidays tour guide.
Direct transit to the cultural hub of Habarana (Approx. 5.5 hours drive).
En-route Veneration: Visit the ancient Munishwaram Temple, a majestic Pancha Ishwaram dedicated to Lord Shiva that predates 1000 CE. Continue to the nearby Manavari Temple, the historic site where Lord Rama installed the very first Ramalingam (Shiva Lingam) as a remedy for Brahmincide after defeating King Ravana.

βοΈ Day 02: Coastal Shrines & Lost Cliffs (Trincomalee Excursion)
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast before driving to the eastern coastal city of Trincomalee (Approx. 2 hours drive).
Key Shrines: Explore the cliffside Koneswaram Temple (The Temple of the Thousand Pillars), featuring a monumental statue of Lord Shiva overlooking the Indian Ocean. Pay your respects at the historic marker of the Shankari Devi Shakti Peetham – celebrated by Sri Adi Shankara as one of the 18 premier Devi temples built by King Ravana.

βοΈ Day 03: Sacred Relics & Ancient Caves (Habarana -> Dambulla -> Kandy)
Travel south to the hill capital of Kandy (Approx. 3.5 hours total transit).
Key Landmarks: Stop at the UNESCO-listed Dambulla Cave Temple Complex, marveling at 5 grand caverns holding 153 historic Buddha statues and divine carvings. Upon reaching Kandy, tour the pristine Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa), situated inside the last royal palace grounds.

βοΈ Day 04: The Ashrams of Ashok Vatika (Kandy -> Ramboda -> Nuwara Eliya)
Ascend into the misty tea country of Nuwara Eliya (Approx. 3 hours drive), stopping by the roaring Ramboda waterfalls.
Ramayana Milestones: Step inside the hillside Sri Bhakta Hanuman Temple built by the Chinmaya Mission, housing a stunning 16-foot black granite deity. Continue to the Sita Amman Temple in Seetha Eliya – the legendary Ashok Vatika where Sita Devi refused to stay in Ravana’s palace and prayed daily under Ashoka trees. Finish the trail at Divurumpola Temple, the revered “Place of Oath” where she underwent the Agni Pariksha fire ordeal.

βοΈ Day 01 – Negombo Negombo is situated in west coast of Sri Lanka. The wide sandy beaches and the safe sea are the main attractions of Negombo. And itβs in close proximity to the Bandaranaike International Airport. A boat trip winding through the lush mangroves down the Dutch Canal or Muthurajawela Marsh will reward you with sightings of monitor lizards and flocks of migrant birds.

Transfer to Negombo (30 Min drive approximately).
βοΈ Day 02 – Wilpattu The unique feature of this park is the existence of Natural lakes Natural, sand-rimmed water basins that fill with rainwater. Located in the Northwest coast lowland dry zone of Sri Lanka. The park is located 30 km west Anuradhapura, approximately 180 km north of Colombo. The park is 1,317 square kilometers and ranges from 0 to 152 meters above sea level. Wilpattu is among the top national parks world-renowned for its leopard population and there are approximately 30 species of mammals in the Wilpattu National Park which include the Sri Lankan Elephant, Lankan Sloth Bear, Spotted Deer, Buffalo, Sambar and Mongoose. The lakes contain rainwater, important for resident and migratory water-birds and many wetland bird species found in the Wilpattu National Park and the park is also home for many Reptiles and Amphibians.

Transfer to Wilpattu National Park which is 3 Β½ Drive from Negombo (135 Km).
After lunch do an evening Jeep safari inside Wilpattu National Park to track majestic Sri Lankan Leopards, Sloth Bears, and beautiful avian species.
βοΈ Day 03 – Udawatta Forest Kandy Udawatta Kele Sanctuary or the Royal Forest Park of Kandy is situated on the hillside behind the Dalada Maligawa or the Temple of the Tooth Relic. This forest extents about 257 acres and is considered to be a vital Bio reserve the forest is rich with vegetation consisting with canopy, sub canopy and an underground layer. The dense plant life restricts sunlight reaching the ground soil surface. The underground layer mostly consists of the seedlings of the canopy layer species and creepers that reach to the top of canopy layer trees.

Transfer to Kandy which is approx. 3 hoursβ drive (95 Km).
Visit Udawattakale forest reserve.
Evening visit Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic where Lord Buddhaβs secret tooth relic is housed.
βοΈ Day 04 – Udawalawe The national park was created to provide a sanctuary for wild animals displaced by the construction of the Udawalawe Reservoir on the Walawe River. The reserve covers 30,821 hectares and lies on the boundary of Sabaragamuwa and Uva Provinces in Sri Lanka. Udawalawe is an important habitat for Sri Lankan elephants, which are relatively hard to see in its open habitats with a herd of about 250 believed to be permanently resident and the park is also a good birdwatching site to endemic and rare migrants. The Speciesrecorded from the park include 94 plants, 21 fish, 12 amphibians, 33 reptiles, 184 birds (33 of which are migratory), and 43 mammals. Additionally, 135 species of butterflies are among the invertebrates found in Udawalawe. This is a popular tourist destination and the third most visited park in the country.

Transfer to Yala (approx. 1 Β½ Hrs).
βοΈ Day 06 – Yala Yala National Park is the most visited and second largest national park in Sri Lanka, bordering the Indian Ocean. It is situated in the southeast region of the country, and lies in Southern Province and Uva Province. The park covers 979 square kilometers and is located about 300 kilometers from Colombo. The park is best known for its variety of wild animals. It is important for the conservation of Sri Lankan elephants, Sri Lankan leopards and aquatic birds. Yala harbors 215 bird species including six endemic species of Sri Lanka. The number of mammals that has been recorded from the park is 44, and it has one of the highest leopard densities in the world.

Full day safari at Yala National Park.
Early morning safari will be done in the park with packed breakfast. Return back to hotel for lunch.
After lunch proceed again for the evening safari inside the park.
βοΈ Day 07 – Mirissa Situated 151km from Colombo, Mirissa is one of the main beach destinations in southern Sri Lanka. Mirissa is a perfect place to soak up sun for a day or two and its one of the best places in the world to spot blue whales.

Transfer to Mirissa approx. 3 Β½ Hrs (140 Km).
Rest and unwind along the coastlines of the famous Mirissa beach.
βοΈ Day 08 – Mirissa to Sinharaja These coastlines are known for some of the best locations globally for whale watching on their migratory path from the Horn of Africa to the Bay of Bengal. During the whale migration season itβs easy to spot Blue whales, BrydeΒ΄s whales, Sperm whales, Fin whales, sometimes Killer whales, and Common dolphins, Bottlenose dolphins, Spinner dolphins, Rissoβs dolphins and striped dolphins you may sometimes see turtles and various fish species.

Early start in Mirissa. Transfer to Mirissa Harbor at 6:00 AM for a Boat Trip to observe whales and dolphins in their natural habitat.
After the whale watching tour, transfer to Sinharaja Rain Forest approx. 3 hrs (100 Km).
βοΈ Day 09 – Sinharaja Sinharaja Forest Reserve is a national park and a biodiversity hotspot Located within Sabaragamuwa and Southern provinces of the south-west lowland wet zone of Sri Lanka. The total area of the Sinharaja Forest Reserve is 18,900 acres or 7,648 hectares and ranges in altitude from 300m to 1,170m. It is ofinternational significance and has been designated a Biosphere Reserve and World Heritage Site by UNESCO. This is the countryβs last viable area of primary tropical rainforest. More than 60% of the trees are endemic and many ofthem are considered rare. This treasure trove of endemic species includes trees, insects, amphibians, reptiles, birds, and mammals. The hilly virgin rainforest, part of the Sri Lanka lowland rain forests eco region, was saved from commercial logging by its inaccessibility.
